Stanislas Kim guested as soloist and chamber musician as renowned festival such as Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Bach Days Würzburg or the Grieg Festival in Bergen.

 

The collaboration with the violinist Midory within 'Music Sharing is one of his highlights as well as collaborations with chamber music partners such as Sergey Dogadin and Tobias Feldmann or with orchestras such as the NDR Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the Filarmonica George Enescu.

 

Stanislas Kim is price winner of numerous international competition, amongst them the George Enescu Competition in Bukarest, the Brahms Competition in Austria, the Hindemith Competition in Berlin, the Swedish International Competition, Concours International de Musique de Chambre de Lyon...

 

Stanislas Kim studied with Philippe Muller, Tilmann Wick and Leonid Gorokhov. Currently he is receiving his diploma in music performance with Jens Peter Maintz.

He gathered further valuable experiences and artistic impulses by David Geringas, Frans Helmerson, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Tabea Zimmermann, Ferenc Rados...  

Since 2019 he is lecturing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Hanover.

 

As awardee of the German music instrument fund he is playing on a violoncello of the famous Vuillaume school since 2017 which is a loan of the German Foundation Musikleben.
